I ended up 100%-ing all the character story paths (peeking into a guide a few times to figure out how to get the last remaining bits) and reached the true ending. Story mode is very well done, amazing even - it's presented in visual novel style (and with great art too), with occasional choices/fight results branching the story into different paths where you get to fight different opponents and reach different endings. Lots of cool characters, easy to perform specials and finishing moves, easily scaleable AI difficulty. Excellent fighting game, perfect for a casual like me.
